Abstract
The
purpose of this article is to address issues related to traumatic brain injury
(TBI) and the post-injury behavior. Common behavior sequelae of students with
TBI and interventions across stages of recovery and implications for
educational planning and programming are included. This paper concludes that
the re-entry of students with TBI into the school setting
involves a variety of professionals working closely with the child and the
family; careful multidisciplinary planning of this transition is essential for
a successful experience for the child, family and professionals.
